The Spartans Girls Academy

The Spartans Girls Academy enables girls to gain all the health and social benefits the sport brings, and to reach for their goals including providing a pathway to elite football at Scottish Women’s Premier League level.

Our girl’s player pathway begins at aged 6 and runs all the way through to U18 level. We have multiple pathways within the Girls Academy, which means we can support each player based on their age and stage. Our elite NextGen pathway plays at the national level as part of a new talent development environment programme under Scottish Football Association, and our regional teams play in the South East Region of the Scottish Women’s Football League.

OUR COACHES:

At the Spartans Girls Academy, we pride ourselves on offering a coaching environment where you can develop your skills and collaborate with other coaches. We often hold coaching in-service sessions to help you on your coaching journey.

Our NextGen squads are coached by advanced-level coaches. If you are an advanced-level coach (minimum UEFA C Licence), and are interested in coaching in an elite environment with us, please contact the Girls Academy Manager.

Our regional squads are coached by parent volunteers and students who are beginning their coaching journeys.
